Revolutionary Digital Workflow

Computer-Guided Dental Implant Surgery
Computer-guided implant surgery is a procedure that has significantly improved the precision and predictability in the replacement of teeth with dental implants.

It starts with a Computerized Tomography (CT) Scan of your mouth areas that you’re considering having dental implants. Using specialized 3D imaging software, the dentist can then visualize the placement of dental implants in three dimensions – conducting a virtual surgery before ever touching your mouth. This eliminates the guesswork involved in determining what parts of the jawbone offer the best sites for dental implant placement.

Next, a surgical guide or template (which resembles a nightguard or athletic mouthguard) is made and positioned in your mouth. The openings in this template form precise guides for the placement of the implants — accurate in terms of position, width and depth.

This technique has revolutionized the industry and provides a more accurate and safer positioning of dental implants, giving your permanent teeth in hours, not months.

Cone Beam 3D Imaging

Physicians have relied on computerized axial tomography scans (CAT) for years. Today, many dentists rely on 3D imaging scans to provide them with a detailed view of the mouth and skull. 3D scans are quick and simple to perform. A Cone Beam Imaging System is at the heart of the 3D scanner. The cone beams are used to take literally hundreds of pictures of the face. These pictures are used to compile an exact 3D image of the inner mechanisms of the face and jaw. The dentist is able to zoom in on specific areas and view them from alternate angles.

Trios Digital Impression Scanners

Our Trios 3 Shape Digital Impression Scanners make the process of taking impressions faster, easier, and more accurate. The process consists of a scan with a wand that allows us to highlight relevant areas that are sent to the lab for abutment and crown preparation.

The Trios 3 Digital Impression Scanners provide a more realistic scan experience in which we are able to better evaluate clinical situations through the use of natural colors and high definition photos. These features allow for better case documentation that we can easily relay to our patients.

These scanners are used in all of our offices and allow us to treat more people, more effectively and with improved care. Our protocol can eliminate additional appointments that would normally be necessary, which helps take away the hassle and stress from patients having to rearrange their busy schedules. Moreover, patients will not gag on traditional impression materials!

Advanced software allow you to see your new smile before treatment.

With the Zirkonzahn Milling Unit on-site, our lab technicians are able to manufacture the longest-lasting and most natural-looking restorations available in a surprisingly short period of time, which, of course, saves you, the patient, time and doctor visits. Further, we can make adjustments to your restoration’s shades and fit while you are in the office.
